Beaujolais nouveau has arrived ! 🍷✨

Yersterday was the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau in France and even abroad ! It is a famous wine, do you know it ?

First, it is a « primeur » wine so it means that it is a young wine that you can drink early after its production. That’s why we are all happy to celebrate it and drink some cups ! 😊

Where is Beaujolais ?

You can see that Beaujolais corresponds to a region to the North of the city of Lyon. If you want to visit France during autumn, I recommend to go to the beautiful city of Lyon and then make a stop to discover Beaujolais and taste its wines !

Beaujolais Nouveau is famous, it has a national recognition with the label that we call AOP for « Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée ». It is a certification of authenticity which proves the respect of the processes. Its variety is Gamay. It tastes good especially with some meat. 🤤

Over the years, this wine has turned into a commercial and media event at a national scale but also around the world ! The majority of its production is imported by Asian countries, especially Japan. ➡🗾🌐
